Median sold price of these houses was $234,500 in June last year which is up 3.10% compared to the median sold price in June this year of $242,000. Original list price of sold houses in June 2009 was $258,125 while in June this year original list price was at $254,950. The percent difference between the median sold price and the original list price of houses sold in June 2010 was 95%.

The average home sold during June this year had four bedrooms and three baths. Median dollar per square foot price of these houses was $82.86. Half of these houses sold were bigger than 3,153 square feet.
As of the moment, there are about 212 Syracuse Utah Homes for Sale in the market. 17 of these listings are under contract homes. Last month, total Syracuse home listings in the market were 234.

As sales price continue to decrease, home sales in Syracuse Utah Real Estate remain unchanged for the entire month of May 2010. Total number of units sold in May this year was 31.

Prices of homes declined by 6.65 percent from a median sold price of $233,000 in May 2009 to a median sold price of $217,500 in the same month this year. Original list price dropped from $254,900 last May 2009 to $250,000 in May 2010. The percent difference between the median sold price and the original list price of homes sold in May this year was 87%.

The median per square foot price dropped from $87.28 in April this year to $78.44 per square foot in May. Half of the homes sold in May this year were bigger than 2,957 square feet. The average of these homes were equipped with four bedrooms and three baths. With regards to the under contract homes, they spend 88 days on the market before they went sold.
Active listings in Syracuse today totalled 234 with 19 homes listed as under contract. This is from last month’s total active listings of 227 with 25 under contract homes.

Homes sales increased 39.39% percent in Real Estate Syracuse Utah, with 33 homes sold during April 2010 over 20 homes sold recorded in the MLS of Syracuse a year earlier in April 2009.

The median sold price for the month ending April this year was $213,500, down 12.32% from the $243,500 median sold price in April 2009. Original list price of all the homes sold during April this year was $227,500 from $258,900 in April 2009. The percent difference between the median sold price and the original list price of all the homes sold during April this year was 94%.

The average of the home sold in April 2010 had three bedrooms and three baths. Median square feet size of these homes was 2,810. Each square foot of these homes cost approximately $87.28.
In the same month last year, homes sold had four bedrooms and three baths. The median square feet size of these homes was 3,095 and the median dollar per square foot price was $86.52.

Syracuse Utah real estate stats for the month of February 2010 are now out. Syracuse Utah home sales were down 50 percent over February of last year. That equals to 30 homes sold in February 2009 against 15 total homes sold in February thus year.
Year over year prices of homes were down by 7.01% over February of 2009. In February last year, sold homes had a median sold price of $235,500 and an original list price of $277,950. In February this year, median sold price of all the sold homes was $219,000 and the original list price was at $249,900.

In addition, half of the homes being sold during February this year were bigger than 3,166 square feet. Each square foot of these homes costs approximately $76.38. The average of these homes sold had five bedrooms and three baths.
With the help of low interest rates and first time home buyer tax credit set to expire in April 2010 perhaps we’ll see an improvement in the next two months for Syracuse real estate.

While year over year home sales have decreased, year over year home prices climbed up a little by 3.31%.
