According to the Real Estate in Farmington MLS, both sales and prices of homes decrease in June this year. There were only a total of 26 homes that were sold in June 2010 while in the same month last year total homes sold in Farmington were 35. Hence year over year home sales dropped almost 25.71 percent.

Median sold price of homes sold in June of last year was $291000. Year over year prices of homes dropped 7.42 percent when median sold price dipped at $269,410. Same thing happened to the sellers asking price that dropped from $319,000 in June 2009 to $275,175 in June 2010. All homes in June this year were sold for 98 percent of their original list price.

The average home sold In June 2010 had four bedrooms and three baths. Each square foot of these homes cost approximately $97.87. The median square feet size of these homes was 2,718. As to the under contract homes, they have been on the market for 28 days.
There are around 176 Farmington Utah Homes for Sale listings in the market today, 25 of which are under contract listings. Last month, total Farmington listings in the market were 175, in which 24 are under contract.

Real Estate in Farmington Utah has just released its May 2010 numbers and it shows an increase in both home sales and prices. The city of Farmington reported 16 homes sold in May this year which is an increase of 25 percent when compared to the 12 total homes sold reported last year at this time.

The median sold price in May this year was $253,427.50, a 9.80 percent increase from the $228,589 median sold price recorded during the same period last year. Original list price was at $239,450 in May 2009 while in the same period this year original list price noted was $264,930. The percent difference between the median sold price and the original list price of homes sold during May this year was 96%.

Median days on the market spend by under contract homes was 56 in May 2010, compared to 47 median days in May last year. Median dollar per square foot price was $99.15 in May this year, from $95.95 in April. The median square feet size of these homes was 2,558. The average of these homes had four bedrooms and three baths.
As of this moment, there are a total of 175 homes listed for sale in Farmington. Out of these 175 active listings, 24 homes are considered under contract.

Farmington Utah Real Estate market continued to show improvements in April in this year with the number of sales increasing for the fourth month in a row while prices of homes have persistently been dropping.
According to the WFRMLS of Farmington real estate, in April this year there were 17 homes noted sold, reflecting a 41.18 percent increase in the year over year home sales compared to 10 homes sold noted in April last year.

Farmington home prices decreased 23.33 percent from $319,552 median sold price in April 2009 to $245,000 median sold price in April this year. Original list price of all the homes sold in April this year was at $250,990 while in the same month last year original list price was at $337,500. During April this year, homes were sold for 98 percent of their original list price.

In April this year, homes had a median square feet size of 2,496 and a median dollar per square foot price of $95.95. During April of 2009, median square feet size was at 3,203 and the median dollar per square foot price was at $139.71.
